| Description: |
Whilst the factory provided a removal tool, one was instructed to ’drive’ (read bash) the tappet guide back. This didn’t appeal to me, hence this device.The plate is positioned with the threaded hole over the housing for the particular guide for replacing and secured with nuts on two of the cylinder studs. the guide is placed in position and tubular item B, with bolt, is screwed into the plate, with the ’pusher bush’ C placed over the guide, rotating the bolt forces the guide into the crankcase. |
