Description: A right mongrel! 1940’s front forks, 1954 scrambles engine, ’57 AMC gearbox, 1965 frame, heavy weight hubs,much modified, Akront rims, Sebac rear legs, Norton(?) oil tank necessitating a separate filter chamber, BSA dynamo much modified to squeeze it in. Owner Tony Lennard.

I think the oil tank could be Triumph. If you’re going to seriously ride it off road you need to lift the gear lever a tad - mid timing chest is about right. It’s got that lovely "cobby" look about it and is a real credit to you. I bet it’s great to ride.
