Hi all,
when I bought my bike, it had an odd home made tool box cover lid.
I got one from the Spares Scheme several years ago, but it don't match with the box, wich is the good one.
Has anyone experienced this problem ?
It is possible to have improved new tool boxes from Iron Johns Vintage Mortocycles, but at an amazing price : circa 335 £ + shipping + customs !
Have you an idea to solve the old problem of poor quality post 63' toolboxes ?

Re: Pear shape tool box lid
Hi Jean-Noel,
two years ago I lost the lid (G15CS - P. N. 48300).
Purchased one (bare) at AMC Classic Spares(http://www.amcclassicspares.com). It's still listed at 35.74 BPS incl VAT.
Fit was as well or as bad as with the original one.
Regards Ludwig

Re: Pear shape tool box lid
Thank you Ludwig,
I have yet a brand new one from the spares scheme, but it is not matching with the tool box.
I will ask a craftsman to see how to do the job.
The box seems to be correct...
Cheers.
