Crankshaft regrind

Post by jackdar »

Does anybody know of any reputable company that will carry out a crankshaft regrind? Preferably in the North West, having difficulty locating one.

Thanks
Darren

In the last 2 years I have seen two twin cranks reground by Billy Banister at Bamber Bridge ( just South of Preston). He comes very highly recommended and knows all about the correct proceedure for AMC. cranks (unlike some who I would not care to name). I do not have his address but he can be contacted on 01772 338970

I've just had a G9 crank ground at Lane Ends Engineering, 0151 426 0230. Just off the M57 at Prescot. Superb job, perfect radii, and £15 +vat per journal. They do every other engine service as well (except metal spraying) Cheers Dave.
