Dating service

Post by StephenG80 »

I recently sent an email as per the instructions re motorcycle dating service. I appreciate getting all the info together is not a quick task, and I don't want to chase; however the enquiry is in relation to a bike which is for sale so I am just wondering how long I can expect it to take before I get a response.

Anyone?

Thanks

Stephen

Is the online (DIY) dating info sufficient or do you need hard copy certs for the DVLA?

I tried that which showed up an anomaly re the frame so then asked vender for engine and gearbox number for more detailed info via dating service. So looking for the detailed "letter" info.

The frame number comes up as an M16 which is not the engine currently in the machine.

If you have dated the frame as a AJS 16/16MS and the engine is not the same it’s been changed.
