Greetings!
I have a 1941 G3L and I'm fixing the front mudguards. I see from the parts list that the bolts retaining the front stand to the fork legs are different for left and right. FF-G3L-422 and FF-G3L-421.
What is the exact difference? I am assuming that it is going to be the size of bolts.

41-G3L-FF421 is 15/16" x 5/16" 22TPI ( new pt.no. 010693 ) This one ( FF422 ) is longer. 41-G3l -FF422 1 3/16" x 5/16" 22TPI ( new pt.no. 010694 )
Reminding you once again. If you do not see a size given, check the master list new to old pt.no. conversion. You may find the size. You may find a new part. That's where I found the info above. So another number to use if looking for the part.

Re: Matchless G3L - Front Stand Retaining Bolts
Could some one refresh my memory please, is the drive side bolt/pivot and stand leg fitted on the inside and the timing side on the outside of the fork leg for this year and up to 1947?
