Description: |
Last year of the Matchless racers. In 1962 the engine got a 2" inlet valve, 11.2:1 compression, engineplates all around the gearbox. This G50 has a Arrgard 5-speed gearbox. The bike was sold to swedish rider Agne Carlsson in 1964 by Tom Arter. Agne raced it for three years winning Yugoslavian GP in 1964, runner up in the Swedish Championship in 1965 and winner in 1966. The bike was then raced by different riders until 1973. Restored in 1982-83 then used at classic events.

Awesome bike. Background colour collides with colour of petrol tank - a differnt background would be beneficial.
