Very surprised no one has rated this before. I have just come across it and am very impressed. Very smart restoration in every respect. Don’t think the helmet matches. I gave it a nine because it is not a Matchless! Sorry.

This bike is featured with its owner in the book AJS The complete story by Mick Walker. Thanks for the encouraging comments.Regularly ridden through the summer months.Purchased in 1971 for the sum of £35.

a lovely bike exactly the same as my brother had in the 60s i think it was a 1960 bike reg no was ess300 and had recesses in the tank as 1st owner had short legs and i wish i had it now!
