1959 matchless G2CS In need of research. |

This bike was despatched from the factory 2 days after production began, it was bought by an AMC draughtsman John Rowlands who competed in scrambles events on it, it is fitted with an aluminium barrel which i have a letter saying could be unique. It has 2 spark plugs in the head (which could be the same as all G2CS ? and an aluminium rear brake plate,(the letter sugests AJS 7R brake parts?)it was registered VYU 626. This is my first step towards researching this bike, if you can help please email me at Derekbonner@btinternet.com. i have a small amount of info on this bike and can send various photos and the little i know via email, please put G2CS as the subject as i get crank / virus type emails which i do not open, i need any help that you can provide, i shall seek help through Jampot soon, thanks Derek. |
