Description: The bike was registered as a Matchless, but I dressed it as a AJS.
Bought the frame as a "you might as well that that too" when buying a WD-G3L in ummm, 1977? from the venerable E&M. Just the rolling chassis at that time. It wasn’t till later I noticed the frame number sufix-C.
A couple of years later I acquired a couple of alloy engines in similarly bizarre circumstances and married them together.
