Matchless G80CS |
Description: |
Progress on my 1961 Matchless G80CS. This version was built for the BSAP (British South Africa Police of Rhodesia), the models supplied to the Force were special order and assembled, mainly by hand at the A.M.C. Competition Department at Plumstead, in London. They were different to the commercial G80CS in that they had amongst other modified suspension, larger front wheel, a larger fuel tank. At the moment I have the commercial tank fitted as the original is in for cleaning and painting. |
