Very nice indeed - It looks like a 1970 model - I really wanted one of these when I was a kid, they were always such a nice looking bike, (as was the Triumph version)...I have often wondered if the reputation for ’Grenade’ like fragility of the engine was deserved !!!....

Cracking bike. As for the reputation of these engines not being reliable. I have owned a few of these and never once had any engine problems. All were in daily use, often living outside under a sheet. One in modified trim used for competition, long distance trials events and trail riding. Yep, a pretty good bike.

Thank you I do try to make them run and look nice it also fills a bit time in. I have had 3 of these little 250s now and never had any major engine/gearbox trouble as long as they are looked after regular oil changes and the like
