FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS Very nice indeed - It looks like a 1970 model - I really wanted one of these when I was a kid, they were always such a nice looking bike, (as was the Triumph version)...I have often wondered if the reputation for ’Grenade’ like fragility of the engine was deserved !!!....

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS Cracking bike. As for the reputation of these engines not being reliable. I have owned a few of these and never once had any engine problems. All were in daily use, often living outside under a sheet. One in modified trim used for competition, long distance trials events and trail riding.
Yep, a pretty good bike.

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS Thank you I do try to make them run and look nice it also fills a bit time in. I have had 3 of these little 250s now and never had any major engine/gearbox trouble as long as they are looked after regular oil changes and the like
