Description: |
Found derelict five years ago in a damp garage. Only had 13k miles on it. PO had been knocked off it by a car touching the rear mudguard in 1978 so gave up riding and forgot about the bike. Shocking external condition but inside engine and gearbox like new. Had one in 1970 from Ruddington and always wanted another. Slow restoration as have other interests as well, but back on the road now and running superbly. |

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS Looks good. The 13K miles the bike has done must be mainly after the bike saw service with the AFS. I recall the Matchless we had a Harlow AFS, at the time the AFS was disbanded, had less than 1,000 miles on the clock. During my time it never went on the road. Just got it out the garage and rode it round the yard. Not me, as I never took the home office test to ride it.
