This AJS was imported to Sweden by Lindblads who also were the swedish importers of Bosch electrical equipment, thats why the AJS is carrying Bosch lighting. One of the workers at Lindblads bought the bike in 1928 and used it up to about 1953. At the end it carried a sidecar so the owner could carry building material to his summerhouse! In 1980 I met the the owner of this AJS at an autojumble were we started talking. He told me it was for sale. Of course I couldn't resist such an offer. Since 1981 I have done about 25000 miles on it, first summer to England and Wales. It's a fun bike to ride, it handles well on both gravel and tarmac roads and will cruise at 55 mph. Top speed is about 75 mph.
