Description: Recent purchase here in Northern Ireland, really nice bike, sounds great. Was told it was Clubman Spec - welcome comments from the knowledgeable members?

Nice bike! Seems to be restored to original 1955 specs. The horn is the only thing I can point out. Cardboard under bike looks relatively spotless :-)

tank and wheels painted the correct shade for the year. Is that a suppressor plug cap I see? Plugs leads should be routed between the inlet rocker covers, and a length of rubber tube over the bare front brake cable. (You did ask!)

Great restoration to original 1955 specs including correct Red paintwork, except for non-standard Wipac pattern horn. Plug leads should feed through rocker boxes to plugs. Rear brake lead could look better neatly clipped to frame. But hey, I’d love it. Have to live with my memories of mine at my age!

looks like rear brake actuating rod is wrong way around adjuster shouuld be behind primary but i’ve only had experience w/ US bikes
