Picture: silencer baffles

Previous Next

Description: I had not realised silencer baffles can be bought and fitted into the exhaust systems from online bike shops and e bay, you can actually adjust the small baffles on this type to suit your needs, my G5 has some baffles missing and is too loud for my liking so these seem just the job, and not expensive either, has anyone tried these?? There is a small 10mm hole needed to be drilled to secure and there are various diameter baffles to select from.

As a lad I used those spherical metal pan scrubbers. They only lasted a little while, cheap as my mum was buying them.

Yes I did use wire wool in days gone by but if it gums up and partly blocks the silencer its tricky to get out, I used caustic soda crystals then but don’t know if it is still sold
