Indian Matchless Dealer Sign |
|
|
Description: |
My wife picked up this sign at an antique store in Missouri, U.S. and gave it to me for our anniversary. I’ve never see one like it. It’s about a meter wide and double sided. I think its the middle section of what was a three part dealers sign. For those who might not know, Indian imported Matchless motorcycles into the U.S. in the early sixties. |

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS Great sign, rare & very collectable, good that it has survived and is now part of the American motoring history.

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS I need to correct myself, the Indian name was bought by AMC in 1960. It was AMC who brought Matchless to the U.S. under the Indian marquee.
