Clutch cable might be a bit tight?

Full width hubs are 55 and later. Rear frame section looks like 55-59. Rear jampots are 56 and earlier. Burman gearbox is 56 or earlier. Oil tank looks like a 57 tank. Definitely not a 52! (imho)

The oiltank is 56 only ( no lines on it).. i think apart from what you stated ie guards and silencer, the bike looks spot on for a 1956...Good project !

Great opportunity. Just needs mudguards, silencer and bit if a clean! Looks like factory paint - will polish up well I am sure - lucky you.

GET THE FRAME NUMBER go to the club dating service and check the number £ 5.00 it will tell you the correct year and model PRE 53 THE MAG IS MOUNTED AT THE REAR OF THE BARREL Frame looks like a model 20.? 54 on it does not matter though nice little project

Everything looks ’56 to me - last year of the Burman box and first year of the slab style oil tank (without the little flutes) - love the reverse cone mega - it thinks its a 7R !
