Lucas 467/2/ MC Tail Lamp Original

I have a lucas 467/2/ MC tail lamp. I came across this in Uruguay when I was taking apart a 1948 Ariel 4 square to restore. The Ariel was missing a lot of original parts and so I sold it. The tail lamp I nearly threw in the rubbish bin as it didn’t look like any tail lamp I have ever seen, I decided to keep it as it is made of brass and it said Made In England. As it turns out it is one of the most rarest tail lamps to be had.

I am presently restoring a 1950 Matchless G 80 500 Clubman, so it will have a home soon.
