Description: My M18 has the swing arm set closer to the right footrest bracket compared to the left...IS THIS CORRECT PLEASE?...applies to all Norton wheeled frames.

footrest set up is the problem?

On my Model 16 (64) the swingine arm on the chain side runs 7 to 8mm from the footrest bracket, on the other side there is a 1 to 2mm gap. So your setup looks same as mine, but your footrest fixing look more like BSA, don’t look like mine
