Thanks for the compliments, great brakes, handles very well with crisp acceleration. It needs a few hundred miles on it now to settle it down, plods along at 50 really nicely, vibration free and quiet.

Beautiful!! I have owned a 1964 AJS 18 since 1975 which I took apart in 1980 and had the frame and paintwork re-done the original polychromatic blue. I have actually got round to rebuilding it these last 6 months and would love to chat to you about yours. Are the mudguards stainless or aluminium? How did you get the wheel hubs so shiny?
