1950s rocker box aperture |

Description: |
View of empty rocker box showing the 2 blanked oil feed holes above the push rod rockers. I suspect this is a ’54 or later ’box as changes were made that year to improve oil flow to the valve end of the rocker - presumably by blocking the push rod end of the feed! Some rocker boxes have metering jets or slots in the blanking plug here rather than a complete blanking. Any one know the truth of all this? |
