Picture: Sunbeam S7 Deluxe combination

Previous Next

Description: New in April 1953 and supplied as a combo by County Motor and Cycle Works Birmingham. Once previous owner who lived in Ansty Road Coventry. I bought in 1987 following his death and have used regularly but gently ever since&59; now 57500 miles. Unrestored in every respect, the original paint is still in very good order. Good fun and always attracts attention wherever I go....

What a gem! I’ve read that Sunbeam’s expertise in the stove enamelling process was an asset highly valued by AMC when they acquired them, and subsequently applied to enhance the appearance and durability of all AMC’s metal parts.

Absolutely superb. Original paint is always better than modern glossy two-pack. Love the Sunbeam green as well. Let me know when the rig is for sale &59;-).
