FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS I cant make out the bike there, but its an interesting picture, my dad was a bren gunner in the second world war if what he said was right I wouldnt pull the trigger or you will be straight out the back of the sidecar, lol.

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS It was a Model X, i remember seeing it & being amazed that someone would paint one in WD green. Nice job though. As for the Bren gun,my Dad was an instructor on them during WW2,& the TA still had them in the early 80’s where i trained on them, they had this unusual habit of actually hopping forward,so Dad taught me to hold it tight to stop it getting away from me instead of worrying about absorbing the recoil.
Lovely bike & a brilliant weapon.

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS looks like Dave Sharpe from the Poachers Section on John Tinley’s (East Berks) 1939 Model X with his son (Sharpe’s) in the sidecar at this year’s Jampot Rally. Nice one! Mind you at 50mph being in the sidecar is like sitting next to a concrete mixer.
