1961 AJS Model 31 Cafe Racer |

Description: |
I have finally begun the subtle Cafe Racering of my Model 31. No cutting or drilling involved and it can all be undone and back to normal in an hour or so (Except the paint stripping form the forks of course. It’s still very much a work in progress but I think she looks rather fetching so far:)

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS very nice looking bike, I think I will put a siamese exhaust on my 31 when I renew the exhaust system, less to mess with.

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS Very nice, I do hope the throttle & choke slides in the forground are redundant items and not just omited

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS Hah good spotting. They were out on both carbs as I had to shorten the throttle cables for the new bars. Seeing the state of my work surface it wont surprise anyone to learn that I ended up treading on one of the carb needles and now need a new one. You ever tried straightening one of those things!!
