1961 Matchless G5 Lightweight |
|
|
Description: |
This my very red Matchless G5 that I’ve ridden for the last 10 years as an ongoing "ride or restore" project - at times being more ride than restore. It’s now just about complete following a new paint job and saddle. It’s a great bike to ride and being a 350cc it has plenty of "grunt"! Roll on the summer and hopefully another 10 years of riding pleasure!! |

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS I had one of these in the AJS form in the late 60`s, it was fairly quick for its time and handled really well, yours looks very nice I have an AJS 650 twin now but would love one of these again.

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS Very nice, glad to see it’s used. I used my Model 8 all through the winter, and it happily chugged to work in the snow and never let me down once. It’s in need of a bit of tlc now though to check rust!
