Ah ha I do believe you have it the wrong way round Beri, Mind you I am far from an expert, it should point upwards not to the side. well it does on both of my bikes, have you got the paper gasket on correctly and not rstricting the hole?

he2x... well I think I have to check it again! before it was point upward but I found that the oil didn’t flow, and the I open the flange and close the center hole (plunger), and the oil came out from the upper hole not from the right. that’s why I change the position like this and the oil flow.

I think it’s a risk to run the engine in this way. Th upper hole which is normally plugged by the flange leads back to the timing side crank shaft bearing from which the oil is fed thruogh the flywheel to the big end. If you use this channel for the oil way to the rockers, the amount of oil to the bearings will drop drastically. The hole on the side whih feeds the oilway to the rocker is fed by the small hole of the plunger. The bore to the plunger overlaps the hole in the plunger at the begin of the compression stroke (when the plunger is in the rearmost position and starts to move forward). In this position you can test if the oilway is free (blowing into the center hole of the plunger). Much luck, regards Ludwig
