Picture: 1952 16MS Front Axle Assembly

Previous Next

Description: Front axle assembly, the brake backing plate sits out too far off the drum when on the bike. I cant move the inside nut in far enough (it hits the plain washer) to allow the back plate to close the gap.
Seems to me that the Inside Thick Spacer is too thick, but this is how its always been.
Maybe some of these parts are from a different model? Any clues please?

Easy Merlin, just have a passion for photography and a wish to be back on the road again...and use MS Publisher! But... do you have the answer? Cheers, Gray
