The AJ looks to be about 1961 but the Norton is newer 1968? cf160

The AJS is 1956, and.....there’s something distinctly odd about the front hub. Brake on the wrong side, perhaps.

well spotted dreadnought that brake is definitely on the wrong side, hence also both fork sliders. Stress on brake arm will be all wrong.
