Whilst I had the camera out. This is my second AMC bike I finished it 9 months ago, it has 500cc alloy engine and a reproduction comp frame. I have a dynamo and lights on it as I use it on the MCC trials so far it has done the Edinburgh and the Lands End. It works very as a trial bike but the 500cc engine is hard to start and gives the electrics a hard time with battery and bulb failures. Maybe I will try to lower the compression ratio |

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS It’s a beauty, very similar to my trials AJ.I did the Arbuthnot trial on mine a few years ago,a day to remember. At the finish I was absolutely kned but was grinning from ear to ear.Mine has a tuned 350 engine which is easy to start and seems powerful enough for general use.Paul.

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS Lovely! Sounds more like an electrical problem than a motor problem! Maybe a sold state regulator would help? [but what do I know?]

FJRIGJWWE9R1PIC_RATING:COMMENTS Why no kick start?, Its along story, please see my rant over spares on the forum, I have been modifying a standard kick start to give me more foot room. I have now fitted it and it has made the starting allot easier as removing the standard bends has increased the kick start length by an inch.
