Description: Used regularly in long distance trials.
Had an Enfield front hub in photo, now has correct WD type. Frame is homebuilt by Mr Smith of Durham, the bikes original constructor.

Looks very robust and purposeful, may not be 100 original but what the heck it certainly shows the AJS name in a good light

Don’t be sheepish about its non-originality, this is the sort of bike AJS should have been making. The standard ’55 trials bike was one of their worst. Very nicely modified. Even a neat manual advance conversion on the SR1 mag
