Section Run to Battlesbridge Antique Centre

on 7^th April 2022

This was a surprise visit to meet up with the South Essex Section, such a surprise that we arrived before the café/pub opened and an hour before the South Essex Section members arrived at their usual meeting time

We had six leaving from Crown Corner on the run and meeting up with Dave Watts, Keith Smith, Alan Jennings and Dudley Woods, who had made their own way there. Pat Gill’s camouflage jacket works so well that he is hardly visible behind Roy. His Matchless G3L made the return trip home okay despite him seemingly forgetting to take his bike’s oil with him when he left. In the picture we have already eaten our lunch and are waiting for the South Essex members to arrive.
