This is something that might help if you are having problems with your electrics. It is a circuit diagram that I have created using the wiring diagram that can be found in various AMC publications. I produced it to help me understand how the electrical system works on my two AMC bikes. A circuit diagram, as the name suggests, presents the logic of the electrical circuit without regard to the physical shape of the wiring loom. However to make it easier to relate to the wiring loom I have coloured the connections in the appropriate cable colours and shown where the frame acts as the earth. Fault finding is easier using a circuit diagram.
