Perhaps I've misunderstood your objective 1608, but the hairpin type valve springs are the easiest type to remove. One simply pulls up the coil spring with one finger away from the head for each spring to release them. NO TOOLS are therefore required as well as for refitting the springs; just push them back down!
Rating of 5 given as your objective is not clear to me if not removing the valve spring?

Neat idea. I've always used a compressor screwed to the head. have never been able to fit springs without a tool- will use this design next time.
