Would prefer to leave oil in place to protect parts that may rust. Use a decent filter to get rid of the rubbish!
Petrol does go off to the extent that the vehicle may not even run! Any one want 6 gallons of fuel that my Lagonda will not run on. It is only of use for degreasing parts.
