Picture: 1950 G80 Dynamo Mounting

Previous Next

Description: When mounting the dynamo E3AR-A05-1 in the rear engine plates I noticed that there is a large gap around the dynamo. This gap stops the locating strip from butting up against the inside of the plate. Any ideas what could be wrong before i go further? Or is this right?

I think somebody has ground out the top of the hole. I will add pictures of my 1948 16M as I have the dynamo off the bike. Yours does not have the slot at the top. I suggest a welding job then grinding smooth to the correct radius. Hope this helps. Regards Ray
