I think you will find Jimmy Guthrie won the light weight TT in 1930. That was the only year AJS produced a few OHC 250 AJS. Theynever went into production. Some time ago I featured this in Jampot, inc. a letter from AJS to a person wanting to buy a 250 OHC, which informed him they would not be produced and why. One such bike was recently offered at auction ,but did not reach the reserve £45k
