Previous Next

Description: The bike is completely original. I bought it at Bonhams Auction sale at Stafford in October 2008. Only one previous owner from new whom I have since contacted. He told me that the bike was put into storage in his garage in 1963 following the birth of his daughter and was not brought out until September 2008 when it was appraised by Bonhams and sent for sale.
It was my intention to clean, recommission and have the bike on the road by now. Unfortunately due to work commitments I haven’t had time to start on the bike.
As members have previously commented, the 1955 G3LS has the best mechanical features of all the heavyweight 350cc singles which are aesthetically pleasing and charismatic.

Very nice find! I see you have the optional Britax pannier frames. Try to keep the bike original please.. do not restore (read: destroy) it.
