CDI unit

Have a problem with the CDI unit - and need a replacement :

Bike AJS ESO 125

The unit i have is:
SMBD125YW
070101
0206

Anyone have any ideas where I can get one from (AJS want £70) or any other that will work - seen a lot on ebay for pitbikes ect ? UK or far east would be best to keep shipping cost down..

PS:

No spark at the plugs - so run all the electrice test ect so about 98% sure but always have that niggling doubt, it would help if I had a working bike near by to swap it out as a final test .

It might be the coil, a lot cheaper than a CDI unit.

There are a lot of CDI units on ebay for AJS not sure if they will match your model. Genuine VS reproduction parts always a gamble. Best of luck Ian

AJS do not have a spare CDI unit or data on the unit which is not helping matters...

Have a loan unit coming from Spain from a guy over at Alternative Cruisers so I can make sure it's the CDI unit.

Have also ordered one that looks like it from ebay fingers crossed.
