primary drive sproket puller?

Pretty pleased to have shifted it without having to resort to grinding etc.. My biggest concern with using a puller was the damage it would have done to the end of the crankshaft. On my bike there is quite a deep centre drill which makes the walls pretty thin and was starting to distort. Once I made the bit to go on the flanged nut I was a lot happier.
The puller I borrowed had 5 wide curved legs which almost made a complete circle around the sprocket, by tightening a locknut these were then clamped into place so couldn't move out and slip off. I would guess a bit of kit like that would be a couple of hundred pounds to buy new.
