Inner part is missing.How many holes there should be.There is one for sale but I am not sure if is it correct.This one have seven holes.Three bigger ones and four smaller.Thanks !

This looks more like a chaincase for a single?

You don not say what year,
The chain case is pictured upside down,
It will certainly fit a single the 3 holes for screws into the crank case. Note also the lug for the battery carrier strap. that would not be needed 56 onwards. You can always check the parts list picture for your bike. look here if you dont have a parts list www.archives.jampot.dk

OASEP, that inner case is the wrong one for your 1951 twin.

Thank you for answers . My bikes engine is AJS 1951 twin,I forgot to write that.

You can see this case is wrong from the parts list page 30 pt. no. 013939
But once again I say do not pay too much attention to artwork which is not always correct. Here you see an example. note the front half shows a hole for the stud, the back half shows no hole for this stud. If you dont have or did not look at the parts list above is a link to it.

It's simple to tell the difference. There is no provision for the generator chain.
