I think you might have trouble balancing the oilfeed to the rockers. Have a look in the Tech articles at 'Twins year by year changes'.

I have been running a G9 with 6oo heads and barrels for the last fifteen years and 12,ooo miles. NO problems at all

Crankcases will need to be 1956 _on my own are 1958. Tony

As an after thought the 600 crank is stamped with a 6 on top of the timing side web. In my opinion the vibration is no more than as a 500
