So, the mod to the jet worked very well the bike ran like a dream at the trial (shame about the rider). I used a B7ES plug, middle setting on the needle and the jet mod. The best I have it running, thanks all.
My next issue is the gear change. I replaced the out cover on the gearbox, I bought a rough specimen, worked some magic on it and then got the polisher to give it a nice satin finish.
However I think that I've messed something up when I transferred the mechanism across from the old cover.
I think it might be spring related as I need to push the gear change down and then I will be able to select the next gear.
Is there anything I should be looking for?
Are there and mods I can make to improve the overall gear selection?
Thanks

There is a special way a part should be lined up, memory loss?? I can't even find the artical that explains this either. Hope someone knows/remembers this artical, which was very well explained, also with pictures
