1950 G3L Piston

Post by DWS »

Started a new post, not wanting to hijack someone else's post. My piston has the following info on the inside:

HEPLEX 10455 3021 AM 405 M52

On the crown it has: +0.30 Made in England Front

Can anyone identify it?

Hi Dave,

Are you sure it isn't 10465? That would suit your model.

Check this out...line number 8:

Hi Lance, Your correct it is 104065

The 6 does look like a 5 at first glance.

Sadly not wire wound I'm afraid

As a matter of interest, who were the original suppliers of pistons for AJS/Matchless in the 1940s/50sEdited by - DWS on 01 Jun 2011 2:09:23 PM
