Teledraulic forks on 3GL are bottoming out ( metallic clonk) and it seems to be on one leg.
Q: that is the shuttle valve at the bottom of the stanchion and it should be free to slide up and down to obscure oil passage hole?
Oh! and 2 fer' 1: the retaining bolt in the bottom of the slider is 1/2 AF?
Thanks in advance.

Shuttle Valve?
Looks like you have a damper rod setup without the damper rod? What's inside the other slider? Cycle thread on the bottom 5/ 16.

Shuttle Valve?
thanks; at the mo' things really seem to point to the one lg so i've not stripped the other one down.
'without the damper rod' ??
if you look at the ali' slider towards the top of the pic' that's the damper rod sticking out. I hadn't 'locked' it when trying to loosen the retaining bolt at the bottom of the leg.
