Small end
Made the mandrel on my lathe, as described by Itma, and it worked a treat.
Was a little worried squeezing the brass bush which was 5 thou bigger than the con rod hole into which it was being squeezed.
Now the bush is squeezed in the gudgeon pin wont fit into the bush, which i now realise is as things should be. hence the need to now ream the bush.
Can i now get some advice for dummies on reaming ie which one do i need, are the adjustable ones ok. And are the eay to use?
If anyone needs to borrow the mandrel let me know.
Many thanks for the mandrel Ken, I thanked neville with IM but forgot to thank publicly. Thanks to john and ian
