I`m planning to sell my AJS. It`s a 1966 Statesman which is converted to CS lookalike. Engine is all aluminium, speedway Jawa crank and hairpins are converted to coil springs. Compression 9:1 and CS cams. It has Norton oil pump. There are wrong parts, baddest being the front end. Fork is unknown 37mm stanchions and aluminium yokes. Front wheel from Suzuki with DLS brake, damn! Frame is stock. Folding footpegs, special central alloy oil tank (original kidney shaped oil tank and tool box included).
It works and goes well. Added here a picture. After that I have bought a CSR double low seat. What should I be asking for this kind of homebrew??

AJS 18 price???
Whatever a buyer wants to pay. Put it on ebay with a reserve you can accept & see what happens. If it doesn't sell, you know it is too much. Cheers, Don.

AJS 18 price???
Old picture, bike not completed yet
Footrest were the toughest and priciest parts to find! Frames 80€ and pegs also 80€! Oh the saddle was 185€...But it`s surprisingly light with footpegs and all. Pig to start with worn out Amal MKII, magneto overhauled.
