'53 18S battery carrier

Greetings

Would anyone have a photo or even a rough sketch of the voltage regulator mounting for a '53 18S please? I have the battery carrier but the bracket has been hacked off . I could mount it under the saddle I suppose but have started to count rivets in my old age.

Bill I am building a 1950 G80S, from bits have a battery carrier , Cannot be sure of the year but it fits my frame and looks liken it belongs.

Happy to give you a drawing of the regulator mount on it

Yep, just up the coast. About an 8 hour drive on the Pacific Highway and a lot of it still single lane.

Isn't there a model that has the reg mounted on the battery carrier and the top frame loop.

Yes and on further study I think that my 50 should have this.

I dont think the battery box has a tag but there is a bracket that bolts on to the battery box and also the frame.

Someone must be able to take a photo for us.

At the risk of this being down under thread.....I too would like to see a picture of this bracket for my '53 18cs, it's got the bracket cut off too.
Must have been a period mod
