Engine Studs

I'm just putting the engine back in the frame of my 55 G3LS and read in the parts lis that the front top stud is 6 9/32", but that seems too long. What have Inot understood.

that the mag platform is in front as well?

what set up are you using?
mag in front?
hence long spacers needed.
sounds about right to me
