Its a nice bike, and its got the later front hub with slightly wider linings, a much better QD rear wheel as well.
front guard looks to be a poor fibreglass repro of an older type.

I quite like the silencer.

not much wrong that a days work cant sort out.

Thanks alot you guys are being great help

so i know now it´s a Short Stroke AJS 350cc model 16 built only from 62 to 64 (probably 1963)

now i have two problemas lack of parts and the papers might not belong to this bike

main concern is that Arsey30 sayed the carb is the rong one according to my internet resurch sould be an AMAL 389/68 can any one confirm if its really not this carb on the bike and if not is it easy to get this carb

Portugal is all about sunny weather and i´m the crazy Vespa rider sorry about that

Its the "wrong" carb but it does not matter one bit.
as long as it is jetted right there will be no problem.

Yes, that is right, I was just trying to identify the bike for the owner so that he knows how it should be if he needs parts.
Many earlier and later parts will fit with little problem, I had the
"wrong" later carb on my 1961 16MS and it ran well enough.

it´s a done deal, the bike is mine!

engine number 16/42536

now it will be striped, painted and mounted as close to the original as posible also i want to open the engine for inspection and replace wared parts this will take some time because this year i will start spending lost of money on dipers..

thanks to all repliers and if you dont mind i will be back soon with some more doubts
